You'll be just a short walk or bike ride away from some of the city's best restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, including Ponce City Market, and the always bustling Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail.

House Rules

City of Atlanta Short Term Rental Operating License Rules 1. It is unlawful to allow or make any noise or sound that exceeds the limits set forth in the City's noise ordinance City code Sec. 74-131). Be considerate of the neighborhood and your neighbor’s right to the quiet enjoyment of their home and property. 2. The maximum occupancy of this short-term rental unit is 2 adults per bedroom. 3. __0__parking spaces are available at this property. Do not park on lawns or in a manner which blocks driveways, sidewalks, alleys, or mailboxes. Drive slowly through neighborhoods and watch for pedestrians and children playing. 4. Any violations may result in immediate termination of the agreement and eviction from the short-term rental unit by the owner or STR agent, as well as the potential liability for payments of fines levied by the city. 5. Please make sure the number of guests in your reservation is accurate. A guest is defined as any person who visits the property for at least 5 minutes. Additional visitors not included in the reservation must be approved in advance by host. Unapproved guests are subject to a $50 fee per person and/or immediate cancelation of remainder of reservation without refund. 6. SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. $300 smoking fee 7. If available, early check-ins must be preapproved and there is an additional fee. Late Checkouts must also be pre-approved by hosts. Unapproved late checkouts subject to $350 fee. 8. Please remove makeup before getting in the beds to avoid staining the linens. 9. No matter what the package says, flushable wipes or anything besides toilet paper and human waste should never be flushed down toilets. 10. Please do not use our address for commercial shipments. If you need something shipped to our address, please ask permission first. 11. Guests must provide an unaltered copy of their Driver's License or Passport to host through Airbnb message thread within 24 hours after booking so we can independently confirm your identity and finalize your reservation. 12. Glitter and confetti are strictly prohibited. There is an additional $100 fee if our cleaning team finds glitter or confetti. 13. Our cleaning team charges a $350 biohazard cleaning fee if they have to clean up vomit, blood, or any other bodily fluid.

Old Fourth Ward is a historic neighborhood in Atlanta. Located just east of downtown, in an area originally settled in the early 1800s, Old Fourth Ward (OFW – look for this sticker sported on the cars of proud residents!) is the birthplace of America's best-known civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Until recently, the main attractions to OFW have been based in history, such as the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site, Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Sweet Auburn Historic District. Visitors can tour restored shotgun houses, Victorian homes and Craftsman bungalows in the neighborhood. In recent years, OFW has continued to evolve and redefine itself. One big asset to the area has been the proximity to Freedom Parkway and the Atlanta BeltLine, which has inspired growth and community investment. An example of this growth is the Historic Fourth Ward Park, dedicated in the spring of 2011. This park encompasses 17 acres of new green space, a two-acre lake, playground, a state-of-the-art splash pad, an outdoor theater, athletic field and a world-class skate park. You’ll find one of the many entrances to this park at Glen Iris Drive and Rankin Street. Also in Old Fourth Ward, you’ll find some incredible dining and nightlife. Venture down Edgewood Avenue for bars and other hot spots – you may even find a hidden speakeasy. Some of Atlanta’s top restaurants call OFW home, so come hungry.

Guest Access

You will be able to access the entire private basement unit of our home (Our family lives on the main two floors). The basement unit has its own private entrance and includes an open concept living room, fully equipped modern kitchen with brand new appliances, bedroom, and bathroom.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Stay — Top Notch Host! From start to finish, everything about this stay was exceptional. Micheal was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described (if not better). The check-in process was smooth and communication was effortless. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend staying here, you can tell the host genuinely cares about their guests.

This was our second time stying at Michael's Guest Suite. The Suite matches the pics and was super clean. Great location as it's a short walk to Ponce City Market and the Beltline. Overall a great place to stay.

Place was great! Instructions for check in (including pictures) was very helpful. Street parking was safe and never had an issue finding a spot. I will stay again if I have work in Atlanta!

Micheal was a wonderful host. His property is even better in person. Pictures don’t do it justice. It was extremely clean, he had a fully stocked kitchen and every amenity you’ll want in a home away from home. Michael was also very responsive and extremely pleasant. I will stay here over and over again. Also, the noise that people say from the feet upstairs is nowhere as bad. I’m a light sleeper and never had to use ear plugs or was it unbearable.

Michael's place is fantastic! I stayed overnight to catch some personal time away from home and relax after work; it did the job. The Super Nintendo was a huge casual bonus for me, as was the record player. The bed was also extremely comfortable. It's also within walking distance of a couple great restaurants. I loved every minute of my stay and appreciated how welcoming Michael was, including recommending activities and checking on my comfortability. No issues on my end!

Michael was an outstanding host. By afar one of rhe top places I stayed in my years using Airbnb. He was very responsive with communication and thoroughly ensured my accommodations met or exceeded expectations. I would definitely stay there again and heavily recommend this place. Find us

If you plan on driving there is plenty of street parking located on Morgan Street in front of our house. You can park on both sides of the street. Just make sure you don't block any driveways or mailboxes. The nearest MARTA stations are North Ave and Civic Center (They are each located about a mile from our house. If you are coming from the airport and don't plan on renting a car our home is located about 10-15 minutes ($15-$20 uber) from the airport depending on traffic.
