Good to know

No expense was spared when renovating and designing our 1850 sqft turn-of-the- century home. During the renovation, we were able to save and restore the 100+ year old oak floors on both levels of the home. Both bathrooms upstairs feature two sinks and the master bathroom features an incredibly spacious shower with skylight. The large and spacious windows throughout the home provide incredible natural lighting during the day. Our home also features the latest technology including a nest thermostat located on each floor, smart speakers in each room, hi-speed internet, smart tv with Netflix and HBO, 100s of classic Nintendo video games, and a gas fireplace controlled by remote. When designing the interior of the home, we consciously selected art and decor from local artists and small businesses to create a truly unique space that allows our guest to experience Atlanta through our eyes..

City of Atlanta Short Term Rental Operating License Rules 1. It is unlawful to allow or make any noise or sound that exceeds the limits set forth in the City's noise ordinance City code Sec. 74-131). Be considerate of the neighborhood and your neighbor’s right to the quiet enjoyment of their home and property. Quiet hours start at 9 PM. 2. The maximum occupancy of this short-term rental unit is 2 adults per bedroom. 3. __0__parking spaces are available at this property. Do not park on lawns or in a manner which blocks driveways, sidewalks, alleys, or mailboxes. Drive slowly through neighborhoods and watch for pedestrians and children playing. 4. Any violations may result in immediate termination of the agreement and eviction from the short-term rental unit by the owner or STR agent, as well as the potential liability for payments of fines levied by the city. 5. Please make sure the number of guests in your reservation is accurate. A guest is defined as any person who visits the property for at least 5 minutes. Additional visitors not included in the reservation must be approved in advance by host. Unapproved guests are subject to a $50 fee per person and/or immediate cancelation of remainder of reservation without refund. 6. Guests must provide an unaltered copy of their Driver's License or Passport to host through Airbnb message thread within 24 hours after booking so we can independently confirm your identity and finalize your reservation. 7. Events, weddings, parties, commercial video, and photography are prohibited unless approved prior to check in. If you have any questions, please reach out to us and explain what you are trying to do, and we can determine if it’s possible to host your event. Good communication is key. 8.SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. $500 smoking fee. If you smoke outside, please dispose of your smoking related trash. 9. No glitter or confetti Our cleaning team will charge an additional $100 if they have to clean glitter or confetti. 10. Our cleaning team charges a $350 biohazard cleaning fee if they have to clean up vomit, blood, or any other bodily fluid. 11. No matter what the package says, flushable wipes or anything besides toilet paper and human waste should never be flushed down toilets.

Grant Park is one of those neighborhoods that just feels like home. Located close to Downtown Atlanta, just south of Oakland Cemetery and east of Georgia State Stadium, Grant Park is characterized by Victorian-style architecture, little villages of local shops and restaurants, and the fourth-largest park in the city. Guest who stay with us enjoy relaxing in the park, bringing their family to Zoo Atlanta (home of America’s only twin Giant Panda cubs!), and exploring the 48 acres of historic Oakland Cemetery. Along Boulevard and Cherokee avenues, you’ll discover many ways to experience the neighborhood’s local character. Trees are a signature feature of Grant Park, and whether you’re enjoying a cup of coffee at one of our many local independent coffee shops or taking a bike ride down the street, a canopy of trees keeps your experience cool in the summer. Be sure to visit during the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival for even more quirky Atlanta fun. As you walk, bike or drive through the neighborhood, you’ll notice that many of the homes display Grant Park signs. Residents are very proud to be part of this neighborhood and go out of their way to be friendly to guests. Our home’s location is truly one of best qualities of our space. We are 3 blocks away from historic Oakland Cemetery. If you have never experienced a Victorian cemetery we would highly recommend a guided walking tour. Our home is also walking distance to all of the amazing bars and restaurants on Memorial Drive. Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Downtown, Midtown, and the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport are also a short and cheap Uber ride away. Grant Park, the Atlanta Zoo, the Atlanta Beltline, and may other amazing in-town neighborhoods are a short bike/scooter/Uber ride away.

Guest Access

Guests will have private access to one-half of this historical duplex. I live in the other half of the duplex (Apartment B) with my family. This home is 100 percent private and the latest sound proofing technology was utilized when we completed our renovation.

Perfect! My wife and I were in Atlanta for a conference and didn't want to stay at the big downtown hotel. This home was an amazing alternative - an authentic taste of Atlanta living. It's 10 minutes by UBER from downtown. The house is really clean, comfortable and spacious with a beautiful kitchen and dinning area. It was great to take morning walks in nearby Grant Park and grab BBQ right down the street. Michael was incredibly responsive and flexible as we booked last minute. We'll stay again on our next trip to Atlanta.

Perfection! I would give 10 stars if I could! The home is a dream, even better than the photos. Everything is pristine and Michael clearly thought of every detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible, from toiletries down to the first aid kit. He was also incredibly responsive and kind. It truly felt like home. I would stay here again anytime!

Because of our home’s central location, there is no private parking but there is plenty of free parking located on the street in front of our home. No car? No problem. Our home is located walking distance from Marta and a short uber/bike/scooter ride from everything else.
